About

"I want to publish this." I said as I first presented my story to Mom. She seemed not to be proud of me as expected. Instead she's very upset after reading it.
"Ugh! I don't know what you've written about. And there're tons of grammar mistakes!"  She became very angry, "What have you learnt at school? Huh?"
I calmed her down and went through the story with her together. This time she couldn't help laughing, sometimes almost choked to death. At last she agreed that the story itself was very funny but "the way you wrote it just hardly be understood at all".
She then helped me through to rewrite the story. Mom insisted to change all the names and delete most of the craziest, funniest and interesting parts. She said that if they’re read by others, I'll be sued, be jailed or even be killed.
After very long time, the story became neat and "make sense" (according to Mom) though less funny (according to I). Anyway I sent it right away to the publishers and the newspapers.
To my disappointment, they all IGNORED ME!!!
I knew that some kids self-published their books. I want to do the same. After checking the price, Mom said "absolutely no way".
I felt very despair, "That's it? All my hard work down the drain? "
"Anyway this was a very good exercise for your writing skills." She tried to comfort me.
"But writing without reader?" I wailed, "I want to let the whole world read it."
She thought for a while and said, "May be I can do something for you."
She then brought everything together. I chose the colour theme. And the blogs were done. She will even translate the story into Chinese.
That's what you're seeing now. I have to thank her very much for all her work. Without her, the story wouldn't be published.
But I also have to say aloud that, "Without me, there'll be no Bill Cheng at all!"
